this earlier instance, a motorist in the Castleton area observed "five giant lights about half the size of a full moon” descending over a neighbor’s house.
“I thought he had spot lights on, doing some roof repairs, but when I reached the top of the hill, the lights had gone over the horizon and there was just this big orange glow in the sky. Then at the Forest Grove Church on the Viewtown Road, I saw the orange lights again. There were five of them in a very distinct zig-zag pattern with two up and two down and an equal distance between each light.
“There was no moon so I couldn't distinguish any outline. All I could see were the dazzling lights. But I’d estimate the size of the object as 200 feet in diameter, judging from the arrangement of the lights and the lights themselves as about 25 feet each.”
