Judge Robertson orderd a psychiatric evaluation for James Robert Jackson of Woodville at the request of his court-appointed attorney.
Jackson is facing charges of breaking and entering with intent to defile, attempted rape and pandering.
"I have had a very difficult time exploring a defense with Mr. Jackson," lawyer Michael Hubbard told the judge. “Either he doesn't understand or he’s incapable of understanding. He’s been of virtually no assistance in preparing his case.”
