To the editor:
In order to set the record straight, the facts are:
1. Aug. 20 Junior Eastham reported German shepherds killing his geese and chickens.
2. September 27 at 8 a.m., NOT December 6, Helen Dixon reported a calf killed K by dogs. The calf was buried late in that date since the weather was warm and the incident occurred close to the house. Polaroid close-ups were taken and shown to Mr. Bruce when he finally arrived eight hours later.
3. There were seven adult dogs and nine puppies living under the house, Mr. Bruce informed us. Later this was verified by neighbors.
