Members of Kappa Alpha Theta who are interested in meeting each other for purposes of networking are invited to write or call Mrs. Norman E. CartwrightBrown, The Conyers House, Sperryville, 22740 (987-8025).
“When someone is new to the community and looking for a doctor, lawyer, accountant, florist, caterer, etc. she would just as soon support one of her sorority sisters, if she knew about her. That’s what networking is all about,’’ explained Mrs. Cartwright-Brown.
Local Thetas are requested to send a resume of their professional and avocational specialities to Mrs. Cart* wright-Brown who will compile a Theta Network. Please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope to receive a copy of the list.
The Theta Network will tell what Thetas live where, their schools, dates, specialties, and phone numbers. Spouses, children’s ages and schools, special projects or interests may also be included. Anyone interested in helping with this project is encouraged to volunteer.
Depending of public response, this may become a Panhellenic Network, according to Mrs. CartwrightBrown.
