One corner of her warm and comfortable work area serves as a display wall for the many types of frames she keeps in stock. Bamboo, barn wood apd raw. unfinished wood samples hang between solid gold leaf, gold leaf with panels in a rainbow of colors and a few metal types.
Orders awaiting pick-up are scattered around the room, examples of the artistry and professionalism of her work. Frames by Cotton Miller are definitely far beyond the home-made, craftsy level. She’s a perfectionist, maybe even a bit of fussy perfectionist by her own admission, and it was this attention to detail that started her off in the framing business.
While she was principal of an elementary school in Criglersville. a position she held for 23 years.
