Rappahannock-Rpaidan Planning District, Fauquier and Orange now have advanced life support capabilities with Madison's unit to be operational in May, according to Emergency Services director Gary Rosson.
“The whole state is watching Rappahannock County,” Rosson said. “It's one of the most rural areas to have this type of thing.”
Pullen acknowledged the assistance Flint Hill has received from the EMS Council, noting that Rosson helped the rescue company both in engineering the advanced life support system and in obtaining the federal grant to finance 75 percent of the cost of the new equipment.
