We re responsible for maintaining next-generation electronic systems for very specialized needs^
And we re currently looking for individuals with 2 or more years' experience in the areas listed below. Each of these positions offers an opportunity to work on a rotating shift schedule which includes both premium and shift differential pay.
Recorder Operators Operate state-of-the-art wide-band digital recorders in a real-time environment on a round-the-clock schedule. Accomplish unit interface via CRT; mount/dismount large tapes and reels; degausse tapes; maintain accountability of blanks and record tapes; perform daily preventative maintenance op recorders and tapes. Previous recorder operator experience required. Work in non-smoking area.
Archive Technicians Operate tape winder/cleaner; inspect tapes; certify tapes on tear unit; maintain precise records of tape status, issue and receipt accuracy is critical. Record equipment anomalies. Exercise quality control of tapes and reels. Previous tape archivist experience required. Work in non-smoking area.
