Gasque Honored
The Warren County Retired Teachers and School Board will sponsor a memorial and dedication service for Quincy Damon Gasque, a former superintendent of schools in Rappahannock and Warren counties, on Sunday, January 16 at It p.m. in Warren County High School auditorium.
During the memorial service, a portrait of Q. Damon Gasque will be presented by the Retired Teachers for placement in the foyer.
The Warren County School Board will dedicate the original high school building as the Quincy Damon Gasque Ruilding.
A reception in the cafeteria will follow the ceremony. The public is cordially invited.
Students Play Faculty
The action on the court will be fast ami funny at the traditional student-faculty volleybnll game when the seventh graders challenge the Rappahannock elementary school teachers.
The game is scheduled for Friday, January 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Admission is $1 for students and $1.30 for adults. Freshly baked goods will be on sale at half-time. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the seventh grade class trip to Williamsburg.
