The teachers do not have that ability now. I’m very much in favor of giving our teachers that security by adopting this index.”
Massie added her support to the motion before the board. “We have investigated this scale from every possible angle,” she said. "With it, we will have control of the bottom line, using available funds to distribute in a logical manner.”
