Objections
Irving Kenyon appeared in person to object to the issuance of a special use permit. Referring to the zoning ordinance, Kenyon said that the shop would definitely be in conflict with the character of the Slate Mills area, which has no business or commercial establishments and has not for years. “This is certain to affect property values,” Kenyon said. “This is a rural, residential area.”
