Assembly Of God Thailand and the Assemblies of God missions work in that country will be the subject of the message of the Reverend Jim Gutel at Sperryville Assembly of God Church on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m., the Reverend Ray Campbell, pastor, has announced. Missionary activity in Thailand is in jeopardy by government decree. All missions groups have been told to decrease missionary personnel ten percent each year until all are gone. “This simply means that in one decade, unless the government decides to do differently, we will all be gone,” Rev. Gutel said. “What we do to reach this Buddhist nation with the message of Jesus Christ we must do quickly,” he noted. “Time is of the essence for us who care deeply for these wonderful people.”
