Mrs. Mamie Weaver Hawkins, age 88, of Round Hill, Boston, died on Sunday, February 6,1983, at her residence.

A native of Rappahannock County, Mrs. Hawkins was the daughter of the late Mark Lyle and Alberta Fishback Weaver. Her husband, Jessie W. Hawkins, preceded her in eath in 1980. She was a member of Mt! Lebanon Baptist Church at Boston and a member of the Rappahannock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Duncan of Boston; two sons, William L. Hawkins of Annandale and Jessie W. Hawkins of Culpeper; one brother, J. Stant Weaver of Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Honts of Front Royal, Mrs. Dicy Thornhill and Mrs. Bea Butler, both of Boston; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. William Lancaster. Burial wa6 in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.

Pallbearers were Gordon Thornhill, David W. Thornhill, George R. Butler, Jr., Buddy Thornhill, David A. Thornhill, William Duncan, Robert Hawkins and Jeffrey Hawkins.

Mrs. Helen Cecelia (Nellie) Barth, 69, of Amissville died on Saturday, February 5, 1983, at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.

A native of Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Daisy Watson Harding. She was a retired restaurant manager and apartment building manager in Washington.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Thompson of Warner Robbins, Ga., a sister, Mrs. Bernardyne Pope of Arlington and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Barth has resided in Amissville in recent years with her adopted sister, Mrs. Thelma D. Larrivee.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 11,1983, at 2 p.m. at Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Steven Parker.

Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
