Mr. Ronald Shultz has begun his first term as president of Culpeper Gideons International. He has served as a home missionary at Oakdale Christian High School in Kentucky for two years and as a F ree Methodist minister for fifteen years and has been the chaplain for Culpeper Gideons for the past four years. Mr. Shultz and his wife, Sylvia own and o|>erate the Green Pastures Christian Home, a nursing facility for elderly people, here on Route 707, and he is also owner/operator of the Marantha Painting and Decorating Company. Mr. Shultz will be the International speaker for the Culpeper Business Men’s Fellowship for the month of January.
Mrs. Joseph Hawkins was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Sims and Amanda.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda were Monday guests of Mrs. Peneranda’s father, J. Stant Weaver in Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Fridenstine have returned from an extended visit with their daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Williams and her family at Cape Cod, Mass.
Mrs. Carroll H. Petty of Front Royal recently visited her aunt, Mrs. Ruth Lillard and Reid.
