Rappahannock school officials postponed Tuesday’s school board meeting—and just in time. At about 7 p.m. | assistant superintendent Tom Campbell announced • that the regular meeting had been postponed until Thursday. By what would have been the time to call the meeting to order, freezing rain was quickly becoming snow flurries. Wednesday morning, the accumulation ranged from three inches plus at Chester Gap to around two inches in Castleton and a frosting in Washington prompting school officials to cancel classes.
