And yes. Ihey were right about last week’s column. There was something missing. Sometimes when you get to the bottom of the page you just have to stop cuz a newspaper can only be so long, but Barbara wanted us to hit you again with this New Year's resolution because it seemed like such good advice to her:
“Never stand close to a man who chews tobacco."
Here's another piece of advice, this from Nancy Schoppet: If you want the best beer and some music that will make your feet fling by themselves, go to the Irish Pub in White Oak. Maryland. It's a little far to drive for a drink, but like we said it’s the best, so what can you do? That’s why Nancy and Richard went here when Robin and Max acre visiting from Southern California over New Year's. Robin is the “Cupid" who Hatched up two people with five kids. Nancy says they all toasted her at their fifth anniversarv on December 20.
“Little" Richard celebrated his 15th birthday last weekend. He had a little money so he spent the day shopping at Tyson’s Corner with Richie Dodson from Viewtown.
Nancy also reports a ■ “casual little last minute thing” involving eight |)eople at Blue Knoll on New Year’s Eve.
Doris Donald reported that she and Frank attended the Statler-Jenkins wedding at the chapel of William and Mary in Williamsburg last Saturday.
Pat Helmer reported a day long training session at her home Tuesday for the new girl scout leaders. Theresa Reynolds, Barbara Gore, Vickie Eastham and Ginny Estabrook were expected to come over to hear about scouting from Barbara Pasquale, Sharon Kilpatrick and Ruth Williams.
