In their first contest at home two weeks ago against George Mason, the Lady Panthers won the first set in RCHS volleyball history but were then defeated in the second set and the tie breaker to lose the match against the more experienced Mustangs.

Next they faced Strasburg, last year’s state champions in Virginia’s “A” division. The Panthers got off to a great start, leaping, smashing and serving their way to a 13-9 advantage in the first set.
