Next week, the General Laws Committee will hold a public hearing on House Bills 351 and 891 relating to raising the drinking age. This public hearing will be held on Monday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. in House Room C in the General Assembly Building and will probably attract considerable interest.
Also of interest is a bill that would permit accident victims to collect damages even if their negligence contributed to their injuries. The House first rejected and then revived this bill for consideration.
