Rappahannock’s Junior ‘anthers were downed by Ilarke County for the secnd time this season last 'uesday, 41-48.
Poor play plagued the ICHS squad early in the ame as they turned the ball ver to the Eagles on their irst four possessions. But irtunately, they did better n the defensive end, steallg the ball almost as many imes as they lost it.
Clarke held a one point dge, 8-9, at the close of the irst period and kept their >ush going in the second. Vith only three minutes ‘lapsed, they had Chucky enkinsm foul trouble with hree violations and upped heir lead to seven. But the ’anthers stole a little monentum with a buzzer shot >y Thomas Rector that cut he advantage to three.
The Panthers stayed :lose in the third period but nissing the front end of too nany one-and-one foul shots n the fourth spelled the difference between victory and lefeat.
