Puppet Show Set
On Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2:30, RAAC is sponsoring a treat for children of all ages: The Bob Brown Puppet Show will perform “The Fool, The Ghul and Clever Carmelita” at the Gay St. Theater in Wash., Va. These are folk tales from Cambodia, Iran and Peru. Admission is $2 (Children) and $3 (Adults) for RAAC members and $3 (Children) and $4 (Adults) for others. (This has been rescheduled due to snow days).
Biological Farmers Meet
The winter meeting of the Virginia Association of Biological Farmers will be held February 11, 9:30-4, at Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville, Route 20 south and Interstate 64.
The VABF is an organization of farmers, gardeners and consumers interested in producing food that is nutritionally complete without the use of toxic chemicals.
Rescue Squad Meets
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the squad building. All members are urged to attend.
Poetry Reading Set
A poetry reading will be featured at the Wednesday assembly series on February 15, 11 a.m., in Good son Recital Hall at Shenandoah College and Conservatory in Winchester.
The bi-monthly assembly series is free and open to the public.
