Massie, Reeve Reappointed
Rappahannock County Supervisors reappointed Beverly Massie and Nancy Reeve to four-year school board terms at the supervisors’ meeting of June 4.
Massie, who has served on the board 12 years, was pleased by the reappointment, and said she believes that experience lends stability to the board.
Reeve will begin her second four-year term. New terms begyj July 1.

The largest cavalry battle ever fought will be reenacted on the original battlefield at Brandy Station this Sunday. The battle begins at 1:30 sharp—with an hour long concert scheduled beforehand for 12:30 p.m.
Edwin F. Gentry of Culpeper is the coordinator for the event. Admission is $2 per car, a parking fee.
Wins Scholarship
Wakefield seventh-grade student Tobias Dengle of Front Royal earned a scholarship from the University of Virginia on May 13.
Dengel was among seventh-and eighth-graders from across the nation who took the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), and scored above the average college-bound senior in mathematics and verbal sections. Generally, the SAT is taken by high school juniors and seniors.
The scholarship enables Dengel to enroll, tuitionfree, in U.VA. courses offered by the College of Arts and Sciences during the summer session or a^ademk1 year.
Dengel is the son of Doctors Ottroar and Gisela Dengel.
