An announcement of an engagement or wedding is the kind of good news we like to publish on the social pages of the Rappahannock News. But we have a few rules that we ask you to follow in submitting the announcements.
Engagements should be typed and include the education of the bride and groomto-be.
Wedding stories must also be typed. They should include the marriage date and should be received by the Rappahannock News no later than two months after the wedding.
Black and white photographs are preferred. We suggest that the bride advise her photographer of this. We can print a picture from a color shot but it usually becomes too dark. We want your wedding picture to reproduce as clearly as possible; we’re sure you do, too.
