Kristi Pendleton prepares to toss in a point during RCHS JV action August 31. Pendleton was high scorer with three points in the JVs home-opener, a loss to Warren County 34-11. RCHS Varsity Girls fared better They beat the Wildcats from Warren 67-53, setting a new single-game scoring record, previously set at 66. Karen Jordan led the Panthers with 24 points, followed by Connie Compton with 18 and Natalie Butler with 11. The next home game for both squads is September 18 against Page County.
