“Look Mom. I can see my feet— and they’re big!”
Kevin, the five-year-old kindergartner who made this discovery after he put on his new glasses, had not known until then what he should see — only what he could see.
His mother noticed that he was sitting close to the TV screen and that he was blinking and rubbing his eyes a lot. But the alert that Kevin needed to see an eye doctor, came out of a vision screening in his class conducted by trained volunteers of the National Society to Prevent Blindness, Virginia Affiliate.
