“I’m just one individual against the two parties, a David against two Goliaths,” said R.E. “Bob” Frazier, Sr., an independent candidate in the 7th District congressional election Nov. 6.
Why is Frazier, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, battling Democratic nominee Lewis M. Costello and Republican hopeful D. French Slaughter Jr. for the House seat of retiring Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson?
“It’s a test to see if America still stands for what it did when it started out,” he replied. “The United States is rapidly becoming morally bankrupt. I’m not sure the country is going to be here 60 or 100 years from now.”
Frazier blamed what he called the nation's moral bankruptcy on homosexuality, alcohol and drug abuse, greed and exploitation, pornography—and legalized abortion.
“We’ve already killed more unborn infants than Hitler killed Jews,” he said. The independent candidate added
