Ethel Wilds

Missionary Organizer

Mrs. Ethel Margaret Wilds, 88, of Sperryville, died Thursday, August 30 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Wilds was a native of Pennsylvania and had lived in Rappahannock for several yean. She was a member and organizer of missionary service, young women bible teacher, ruling elder and bible teacher of Hope Mission House.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John W. Bruning and Mrs. Carol Ann Orndorff, both of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Ronald Shultz, Sr. of Sperryville; two sons, Howard W. Wilds of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Bruce E. Wilds of Tampa, Fla., 28 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, the Rev. David S. Wilds on August 12,1984.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the Lincoln Place Presbyterian Church in Pittsburg, Pa. Burial was in South Side, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
