paid off. Washington firefighters now will be able to pay off approximately $26,000 borrowed from the Rappahannock National Bank, an anticipation loan that enabled them to build the new fire hall. The remainder of the low-interest loan, which was fixed at the time of the original application, will be used to complete the inside of the fire hall, Mr. Leggett said. "We wouldn’t have been able to do this” if not for the help of the Rappahannock National Bank and the persistence of FmHA, Rev. Hobson explained.
