“Issues” shouldn’t be the voters’ primary concern in the 7th District congressional election, according to the Democratic nominee.
Lewis M. Costello, a 50-year-old Winchester tax lawyer, said he and his opponent differ only slightly on important national policy concerns. Costello said he and Republican nominee D. French Slaughter Jr., a 58-year-old Culpeper attorney, are both fiscal conservatives who support a strong military.
