The dresses and accessaries were made by the bride and her mother.

Jimmy Petty of Front Royal, cousin of the groom, served as best man.

Ushers were Andrew and Daniel Ellis, both of Castleton and brothers of the bride.

A reception was held at the church immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Dorothy Thrush of Catlett served the cake and Mrs. Vivian Thompson of Remington served the punch. Mrs. Doris Coughlin, Mrs. Donna Cramer and Mrs. Estelle Dennis, all of Castleton served as hostesses. Mrs. Barbara Hudson of Washington attended the guest register.

Following a wedding trip to Pocono, Pa. the couple will live in Warrenton.
