Resumes Rehearsals
THE CULPEPER-PIEDMONT CHORAL SOCIETY (formerly The Choral Society of Culpeper) will resume its weekly rehearsals on Monday, September 10 at 7:45 p.m. at the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, 215 S. Main St. Music Director Lois Shanks announces there are openings for new members, particularly altos and tenors.
With its new name better representing the large area it serves, the Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society also declares that it is interested in having its own logo. The Society is offering an award of $50 to the artist of the winning design. The letters C.P.C.S. should preferably be il it and the deadline date for entries is Oct. 30.
