During the month of February the Rappahannock Unit of the American Heart Association will be engaged in a drive for funds to promote research in heart diseases.
A great deal of information is now available on ways to avoid heart ailments and to prolong life.
American Heart Association cookbooks, available in the Rappahannock County Library for $4.95, provide information on cooking and eating methods that promote better health.
Information has been placed in our schools and the Jump-for-Heart method of raising money is being planned in our Elementary School. Sponsors for the students are needed to make this campaign successful.
