with depression and will cover such topics as dealing with grief. The identification of different types of depression will also be explored along with recognition of the signs and symptoms of this common disorder. Finally the workshop will attempt to help people cope creatively with depression.
Lee Nettle, Clinic Site Supervisor of Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock County, will lead the workshop.
“Coping with the winter blahs”, which is free and open to all members of the community, will be held on Tuesday, February 18, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Other topics in the series will include “Discipline and Children”, “Coping with Alzheimer’s Disease”, and “Substance Abuse.” The times for these workshops, still in the planning stage, will be announced later in the year.
