The other day I was following a truck that had its company name emblazoned in large letters on the back door. But then I spotted a smaller sentence underneath the company's name.
"We Do Windows"
I wanted to stop the driver, get out, and offer congratulations if not hug his neck.
"We Do Windows." You don't see that phrase on many cleaning- • service trucks, and you don't hear it from the lips of many people.
What we usually hear is "We DON'T do windows." It has become a slogan that summarizes too well our society. Because "doing windows" (washing and cleaning them) is hard work.
vet it is one of the most important jobs in life, both literally and figuratively. Windows in the house need cleaning from time to time; and, windows of the soul need daily cleaning or we end up seeing life totally out of perspective. Everything becomes blurred, and we get wrong signals about people and life.
Cleaning windows gives focus, enabling us to see what life, love, duty and responsibility are all about Plus, it simply feels" good when you can see through clean windows.
Real people do windows. And doing windows make people real.
