All members of the Rappahannock
County Board of Supervisors were present for the February meeting of the Board on Friday the 4th at which time county schools consumed much of the discussion and time. The Board has been considering two proposed building plans to take care of all elementary children of the county. One plan is for a 30room school to be constructed on the land recently purchased on U.S. 211 west of Washington. The other plan is for the construction of a 14-room building at this location for part of the elementary students and to continue using the Sperryville and Washington schools now in operation.
A new agency for the sale of Virginia license tags in Rappahannock County has been established. The 1966 tags will be sold by Wilson Burke at the Sperryville Corner Store.
