Bible Study Last week in Nuggets we looked at 9 y building our lives on solid ground, we want £> to continue along the same lines of that subject that will also help us in these latter days. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord, have God's nature living in their spirit. When we become born again, God makes His home in us (John chap. 15 ? helps us to know this). § Let’s look at God s nature that abides I in us, God is a spirit (John 4:24) and the 3 part of him that abides in our spirit is called j| the Holy Spirit Galatians chap 5 vs. 22 § tells us the nature or fruit of the Holy Spirit, S please read that portion of scripture so you ^ S if will be able to follow along with us. £ 2 These fruits are in us for holiness so 5 that we can act like Jesus acts and so the £ if non-believer will see God in us and be 5 2 drawn to him. 3 £ Even though these fruit are abiding in J a us we must put them on the outside so the 5 9 non-believer can see God in us. if I were to 3
^ wear my clothing on the inside of me, you j ™ could not see them, so I wear them on the ? y outside so you can see them So also we y J must clothe ourselves with these fruit of if 2 God so others can see it and pick our fruit ? 3 to help them in their own lives. y For too long we as Christians have if j, been bearing the fruit of the flesh (read ® y Galatians 5:19-21) and the world sees us 5* clothed with those things and are turned jl ? away from God 3 y The Bible tells us in John chap. 15 that £ if every branch that is not bearing fruit will be £ 2 taken away We cannot bear fruit unless 9 £ we abide in the vine. That is the way to be£
gin bearing good fruit or to begin bearing * SJ God s nature by abiding in the vine (read y £ John chap. 15) and letting the Bible, the 5
words of God abide in us, then others will ^ y see that fruit and be able to pick from our y
^ fruitful trees. 3 p In these last days we must bear good 5 9 fruit so that all will be drawn to Jesus y J through our lives.
