field School, students raised $1,068.72 in a Jump-for-Heart fundraiser.
Plans are being made for telephone pledge drives in Hampton and Wakefield Districts, and arrangements are also being made to have neighborhood solicitors in as many areas as possible. Those who are not visited by a neighborhood fundraiser or otherwise contacted may send donations in the form of a check made out to the American Heart Association, to the Rappahannock Unit of the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 157, Washington, VA 22747. This is a tax-deductible item.
Mrs. Janet Yancey, president of our Unit, urges the citizens of our county to give their usual wholehearted support to this campaign, so that the Unit can reach its goal of $7,500.
