Roger Williams

Roger Jackson Williams, 54, of The Plains, died Dec. 8 in Prince William Hospital, following a heart • attack.

Mr. Williams owned Piedmont Lumber Company at The Plains and was a former member of The Plains Town Council.

A veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of American Legion Post 295, Middleburg, and of the Fauquier Springs Country Club.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Charlotte, a daughter Teresa J. Williams, Marshall, his mother Mrs. Pearlie Sisk Williams, The Plains, a brother Robert T. Williams, Newport News, and a sister Ernestine Ball, Annandale.

His father Andrew Williams predeceased him.

A graveside service was conducted Dec. 10 at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville.
