Slate Mills Baptist Church
The Slate Mills Baptist Church will present a Christmas program Sunday, Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m. “A wonderful opportunity for all to gather to honor Jesus Christ on His birthday, thanking God for His unspeakable gift to the world. We extend a cordial invitation for the public to worship with'us,” said Slate Mills pastor Rev. J. Harold Eaton.
The Christmas party will be held at the church Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 7:30 p.m. “We wish for all the joys of Christmas holidays,” said Rev. Eaton.
Gid Brown Bible Church.
A Christmas play entitled “I Am” will be presented at Gid Brown Bible Church on Sunday, Dec. 20, beginning at 6 p.m. Following the play, Evangelist Don McCann from Kingsport, Tenn., will be preaching. The public is invited to attend.
