E. Russell Smoot and Son of Culpeper will build the $3 million project. Already completed by hospital workmen are the new Coronary/Intensive Care Unit and the new Medical Records Department.

“It is a credit to the vision of the founders of CMH that the original emergency and surgical departments have been so serviceable,” said hospital president Bill Gravely. “And the new departments jire planned with great care so they too will provide years of specialized service.”
