Parent’s Music Resource Center is a non-profit organization founded in May, 1985 to address the issue of lyrics in some popular music whigh glorifies graphic sex and violence and glamorizes the use of drugs and alcohol. It was founded by Tipper Gore, Susan Baker, Sally Nevius and Pam Howar.
Research material, articles and endorsements from the National Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) among others will also be available.
All parents and the general public are encouraged and invited to attend.
