Republican candidate for governor, Paul Trible, has again called for a mandatory minimum 10-year prison sentence for anyone convicted of using a gun during a crime.
Speaking at the 4th District Re publican debate in Emporia on March 22, Mr. Trible said, “My experience as a state and federal prosecutor has demonstrated that gun control doesn’t work. It’s an ineffective means of controlling the flow of firearms to criminals.
