ine luth annual Christmas Open House will be held in downtown Culpeper on Sunday, Nov. 19, from noon until 5 p.m. Free parking will be available all day so that residents can visit stores.

The Culpeper Farmer’s Mar-, ket will host its annual 1 Christmas Bazaar in the New- \ berry’s building on Nov. 19. The bazaar will offfer crafts, ceramics, Christmas ornaments, baked goods, greens, dried flowers, stuffed animals, dolls and needlework.

Newberry’s will be the Open House headquarters, with refreshments served by various merchants and performances by local children, courtesy of Angela’s School of Dance.

An exhibit by Culpeper Rescue Auxiliary Special Hope (C.R.A.S.H.) will also be at Newberry’s. The Culpeper Cross Stich and Needlework Club will hold an exhibit of quilts and other work in the Davis Street Ordinary Banquet room.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit stores downtown, as will Christmas carolers from local churches. The Piedmont Choral Society will sing on the Courthouse steps, beginning at 2 p.m.

Participating businesses will sell raffle tickets, priced at $10 each. The grand prize, to be awarded Dec. 16, is $1,000. Sec
