Mr. and Mrs. Doug Bywaters entertained on Sunday at their home in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bywaters’ 50th wedding anniversary.

Sgt. and Mrs. Mark Werner and Joshua of Fort Lee have been spending a few days with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest.

Katie and Emily Welch were Sunday guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch.
Mrs. Edith Groves of Luray was a Sunday guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard. Mrs. Graves and Mrs. Lillard motored to Fairfax Hospital to visit their son and grandson Allen Groves, who is a patient there and has been quite ill.

Wreathmaking
workshop
A workshop on the basic instructions of basket and grapevine wreath-making will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center's craft center, Nov. 18 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
The craft room is located in Peter’s Lodge, and there, Cathy Kiley, artist-in-education for the center, will offer some new ideas, rethink old ones, and create holiday designs using grapevines, weeds, and natural fibers.
The participants will receive hands-on instruction.'The cost of the workshop will be $25, which includes the materials needed for the basic design.
The workshop is being sponsored by the Blue Ridge Arts Council Inc. and the 4-H Center. For registration, call the BRAC office at 703635-9909. Workshop size will be limited.
