"What To Expect In The Last Days" Luke 10:3 *

Jesus says, "Go your ways: behold I send you forth as lambs among wolves." Jesus appoints the 70 and sends them out by twos and gives them his commission in Luke 10:1. Jesus said unto them, "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." (Luke 10:2)

Jesus sent forth his disciples and told them what to expect. The Word of God tells us what to expect in the days ahead.

We can expect Sin to abound. II Timothy 3:1,3 says, "This know also, that in die last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truccbreakcrs, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that arc good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.

Sin is being made more pleasant today through T.V. showing ungodly movies. Sin is becoming more public in our day than ever before. There is more homosexuality than ever. God says this is sin and not a disease. There are more drunks and drug users, murders, rapes, lying, gossiping, stealing, adulterers, and many other sins in these days. Some people say that drunkness is a disease, but God says it is sin. Dear Friend, if you don't repent of it in this life, you will stand before God and be judged of that sin.

Today, we have men and women living together and* not married. God calls this the sin of adultery. Until that person repents, they will be unfit for heaven. (I Cor. 6:9,10)

If the days of Noah were an abomination to God and it was, what must be our society today?

But thank God, the Lord Jesus will forgive all these sins, if that person is willing to repent of that sin. Praise the Lord, Jesus shed His blood on Calvary's cross to keep you and me out of hell! (Rom. 5:9 Eph 1:7) He wants you to go to heaven if you will repent of sin, Jesus says, "except you repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)

What to expect in the days ahead is the soon return of our Savior. Prophecy tells of His coming. Jesus says, "I will come again." (John 14:3) Many other scriptures tell of his coming.

If He came today, would you be ready? Can you truly say you are saved? If you do not have the assurance of heaven after this life, would you bow your head and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life and save your soul? He will save you if you mean business with Him. "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Rom 10:13)
