The eleventh-grade representative was Michell Grohs, and Philip Dacewitz (captain) escorted her. The twelfth-grade representative was Lorraine Fells. Paul Butler (co-captain) served as her escort.
Amy Noakes was presented as the 1989-90 Homecoming Queen.
Last year’s Homecoming Queen, Kim Hall, was escorted by Wayne Dodson, last year’s captain of the soccer team. Ms. Hall crowned Amy. Steven Von Fange served as the crownbearer. Teacher Jon Heddleston was Master of Ceremonies during the activity.
The National Honor Society also sponsored the Homecoming Dance. The theme of the dance was “The Seventh Room” from “The Masque of the Red Death,” by Edgar Allan Poe. Jeromey Stonebreaker, a junior, and Jeff Fudd, an alumnus of Rappahannock High, acted as DJs for the night.
Chaperones attending the dance were Mr. and Mrs. Herman, Mrs. LaCava, Mrs. Heberle, Mr. and Mrs. Heddleston, Mr. Dietz and Mr. and Mrs., Leake.
