Seventh graders from Rappahannock
Elementary School are at it again, trying to raise money for the annual class trip to Williamsburg scheduled for January. This year students are holding a “Gong Show.” The gong will come down on unlucky performers on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m., in the elementary school auditorium. Any elementary school student may participate for prizes in the event. Rehearsal will be Friday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m.

A contract with the architectural
firm of Smithey and Boynton was approved by the Rappahannock County School Board on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The contract is for the high school’s expansion project and was approved with the fee understanding of $95,000. The land survey of the high school, beinp done by Fanning Baumgardner, may be completed by the end ol next week, said Superintendent Robert Estabrook, now that an architectural firm has been decided upon.
