Public hearing on schools
The county's public schools will be reviewed by representatives of the Virginia Department of Education next week, Nov. 27 to Dec. 1. On Monday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium there wifi be a public hearing to gather comments from the community about how well the county's schools meet the state Standards of Quality and Standards of Accreditation. Residents are invited to attend and voice their opinions about the state of education in Rappahannock County. There will also be a questionaire available, which may be filled out and returned. It may also be picked up at the School Board office bn Tuesday , Nov. 28, between 9 a.m. and noon.
