As I said before, my non-participation is selfish. But I don’t think that it’s reasonable to expect many residents to invest an hour of their time, plus gas to drive back and forth, to participate in the program.
I have used the same argument in discussions about possible closure of the county’s dumpsters at Scrabble and Huntly. If they are closed, I predict an increase in the amount of trash dumped along the county’s roads.
