Make a beautiful pinecone tree by twisting a piece of lightweight wire (it comes in spools just like thread at craft or hardware stores) around each pinecone and sticking them into a wire-mesh cone or styrofoam cone. All by itself the pinecone tree is striking, but you can add additional touches if you wish.
You might want to spray the pinecones silver or gold before you put them on the cone.
You could add tiny red or green • Christmas balls (each attached with wire like the pinecones) or even wind a string of tiny, clear Christmas lights around the tree.
You could place fresh greens and holly around the base of the tree, or put a big, pretty bow around it.

You d be amazed at how much small pinecones look like roses when they are sprayed pink, rose or red. They look really lovely in a tiny basket in the powder room or in a big basket on the hearth. Add some
