The Board of Supervisors considered roads, improvements to existing state secondary roads, standards for new roads in subdivisions and possible enforcement of motor vehicle laws on private subdivision roads at its January meeting.
At the public hearing on the sixyear secondary road plan, residents supported widening and hard surface treatment for several sections of roads, but others asked if the hard-surfacing could be done without widening the road and taking out the trees.
