NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia will come on February 14, 1990 at 8:00 o’clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Courthouse of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County in Washington, Virginia, hold a public hearing pursuant to Title'15.1, Section 364 of the Code of Virginia, to consider the following:

An ordinance to vacate a portion of Jett Street lying on the east side of Gay Street "between Gay Street and property owned by Carrigan. The Town will consider vacating the street for the purpose of conveying a portion of Jett Street to the County of Rappahannock in conjunction with its purpose of the adjacent “Town Hall Building”.

If anyone has any interest in said matter, and wishes to present their views to the Town Council, you are invited to attend the public hearing and make your views known.

A copy of the plat showing, the area of Jett Street to be considered for vacation, and the proposed Ordinance accomplishing said vacation are on file at the County Administrator’s Office of Rappahannock County during normal business hours, and are available for viewing at that time.
